Borderlands is a series of games I never could play growing up because my parents heard it was the most violent game out there or something like that. So I got into the game a little late by getting the handsome collection for free because of the free games from ps4 monthly. When I first started playing I knew about most of the game already because of my cousins unhealthy obsession with the game series. I started my first play through as the mercomancer class which she revolved around high movement and fast and high damage output. The game is a real treat with many unique classes all with different skill trees to change the way you wanna play. For example Gaige The Mecroamncer had a class to make her main ability her "deathtrap" help her deal damage in battle or support her and another tree would be the one about her most important ability anarchy, The whole tree would revolve around it giving you more starting stacks multiplying the amount of stacks you could have and many others. The thing it did was per each magazine of ammo completely used you would gain 1 stack which would make you do more damage but lose some accuracy so there is a trade off to this but if you re lode early but one of the skills in that tree is you wouldn't lose those stacks if you re lode early. So there is a lot of variations to play the game. The settings and graphics look great and all the areas feel really different from one another. The game is really polished and I never ran into any game breaking glitches during my play through. The story is pretty good with it being pretty funny and having lots of good characters and stories or missions from them. It also has some good twists and deaths. The sound from the game was good none of the tracks are good enough to be played by themselves but fit in the moment they were used and the sounds from the guns were unique and worked well. Overall the game is really good and well polished and I would recommend for anyone.

Going into the animation unit I was really nervous that I would fall behind because I've heard how hard animating can be but everything we did this unit was pretty easy to understand and was fun to work with. After I did my ball animation we started on the motion graphics. Those were a lot easier to do then making all 120 cells and everything with the ball. I only had to import a few things into After Effects and do a few more things. The first step was doing my name what I did was giving it movement so it would slide into the frame and then I gave a key frame to change the size value so it would slowly get bigger. What I did next was I had a few words describing myself come onto the screen, and this one I put more work into. Since I finished early I went back and gave it more effects and key frames. I gave it values like opacity movement and scale. What I did was make the opacity value to zero until later from where I put it to 100% so it came out of no where. Then similarly to what I did with my name I made it slide up and to the side. Then came the portrait of me which all I did to it was change the movement a little so it gave it a sliding affect. The last step was to add a special effect to it like wavy lines or exploding bubbles. I went with the bubbles and liked the end outcome. Overall I thought this was a good and helpful assignment.
