When I was working on making my romantic evening in Autodesk 3ds max I wanted it to look as good as possible since it was out first project back in school. I did my research to get the silverware and candle looking as good a possible. So what I decided to do for the candle was make a cylinder and then extruded out some of the angles put the turbo smooth tool on it to make the extruded points to make it look like melted candle and then used the ffd 4x4 to make the top droop down to also show its been melted. Using both of these showed me a lot about 3ds max has to offer and how to make some things look more real and how to edit certain points

Since I have started working in 3ds max I have been wondering when or how would I use the tea pot tool correctly. Since I could make whatever I wanted I thought that today would be the day that I end up using it. I had this piece with the whole thing revolving around it. So what would be better for a tea party than a tea pot. This was a pretty simple project that I wanted to do to get ready for a different assignment ive been working on(the romantic evening) because some of the designs would help with it. So all I had to do was use boxes as the legs for the chairs and table. The next thing I worked on was trying to see what would work best for a cup. I was using cylinders originally but after trial and error with that I moved onto a different shape, the tube. This was also a first for me when working with that tool. I made small tubes with a small hole in them to make cups. Next I aligned everything to make it look like a real tea set chairs table cups and a tea pot everything was going great. Overall I was happy with the way this turned out and wouldn't really change anything
I think among us is an amazing game that people used to sleep on before its new surge in popularity. The game is up to 10 people with as many as 3 imposters trying to stop the crew mates from completing there tasks without getting caught. No one is allowed to talk until a body is found and reported or if a meeting is called. This is great because you need to wait to give the information you've been finding and everyone has to talk to vote someone out. If all imposters are voted out the crew mates win and that is there time to do it. This game can be frustrating or insanely satisfying. If you're good at lying you can get your way out of being accused and voted out. That adds a interesting element of suspense to the game as no one can trust each other or really be together. The game is without a doubt worth the money, its only 5 dollars and I have already put about 20 hours into it without being tired of it. It is best if you have a big group of friends to play with. The visuals are cartoon are funny with the people like beans and no arms. The interface is pretty easy to use with only a few buttons needed it can be all played on mouse or you can choose mouse and key board. The game never has really crashed on me and runs pretty well. Overall I think this game is totally worth buying and is a total 4 stars out of 5 and I would recommend to anyone.
This was my first time working with the torus shape so I was kinda nervous about it because I didn't really know what to do but I knew I wanted to do this. So the first thing I did was make the outer arena. One big grey torus and for the seating I made a smaller blue one inside. The field was made up of a cylinder that I had to fill in just enough so it would look realistic and like a grass field. The next thing I did was make a goal that I had to make a cube and then pinch down the back of it to make it have the look of a goal and then I copy and pasted it to make the same goal. Then the last thing I had to do was make a sphere that acts as the ball on the field.
-Learned how to use the torus shape -Got better with the extrude tool -Really got the hand and I feel like I mastered the basics of 3ds max Once summer started I started playing around with 3Ds max to experiment with some different tools and shapes. So I decided my first project I would actually make would be a penny board, something small but would also push me farther so that I would have to use new tools and techniques. When making it I started off with cylinders that I had rotated to use for the wheels and a thin box for the board. The new skill I ended up learning was after changing the box to and editable poly I used to chamfer down the front of the board to get a more pointed end to make it look more relativistic. For the back of the board I did the same but the dragging up the end to make it look like an overlap kind of design. Now school is out and I can use more time on improving and being free with whatever I want to make. -I learned how to use the chamfer tool better - School is over - I can make whatever and improve my skills While I have worked at home doing work for game design I have had lots of troubles but also lots of fun. During this I have mostly worked with premier pro which was giving me way to much trouble. Whenever I put in a file and let it play it was purple and green and the audio was really echoing it was hard to work with. The sound was really messy and loud even though I had it turned down. With that being said I also learned new things you can do with the app. You can splice video shots to make motion more fluid and completely get rid of some audio in some parts and make the overall sound and video a lot better. I have also used Photoshop, It was pretty easy to use because I had already learned every thing I needed to know so making the things with my portfolio was pretty easy but also pretty fun. 3ds max is really hard and I am not looking forward to it but at the same time I think it would be a good skill to have and I will definitely need it for next year so I am gonna make sure to get everything done. I have definitely had an easier time at school when working with game design doing it at home was hard when you couldn't get help as you were working and I would much rather do it at school.
League of legends is definitely the game I have been playing most of all over this lock-down and I gotta say I like the game. Seeing as the game is free I would definitely recommend it to someone but with warning, The game is pretty fun I cant deny that but when I am having a bad game or my team is doing bad it is quiet upsetting and without a doubt puts me in a bad mood. The game is a 5v5 team multiplayer moba. So if one person on the team is doing really bad it can make the game really hard and the community is very toxic so people will do this on purpose or leave games make fun of people when they do bad. The game is really just one map that takes place for every game to take place its pretty good size for the game and has 3 lanes and a "jungle" that has monsters around it. The games difficultly really depends on what rank and people you go against so when I play with my trash friends its easier because we go against lower level people but when I play with my good friends it can be kinda hard but its all dependent. The game play is fun almost every character has 4 abilities each one different and with more characters coming out and old ones getting reworked to match the new ones. The only skills is to know when to kill minions knowing game knowledge and having a good map awareness. The game is logical and takes some thinking instead of just running in and like dying. The graphics match up well with the games theme and the character design is amazing with a lot of detail going into each person they are really thought about and fleshed out. You are able to customize the controls and make whatever key binds. The menus are nice and straight forward. The map is a big part and definitely helps the game a lot its in the bottom corner either side depending on what you choose and it shows areas of map with vision so its useful. So in conclusion the game is good and i enjoy it but there are some problems with the community but for a free game its overall a great game to play when you have free time and I would recommend it to anyone who is curious about it.
After we had to leave school because of the corona virus we started online school and so we got the option to have all the adobe products at home. So far I have made something in Photoshop and it worked a lot easier than when it is on the school computers. I actually really like to make things in Photoshop and will most likely make more things than just for school. I have downloaded a few apps already. Also my computer can run apps that the school computer can not, such as Adobe rush. I really have enjoyed making dumb things so far and will spend more time doing it and getting better at these apps. All the apps are also up to date insted if being outdated. Overall I am very happy with being able to use them and it sucks I wont be able to keep them.
When I was starting to work on my project about working with video my computer would not load my rush so I had to use pro. My teacher said that it would be so much harder to work with and that it would take more time and effort. With all that being said I thought that it was relativity easy to work with compared to other Adobe programs like animate. I really liked working with it because even though the school computers had a hard time, I found my computer not crashing ever and I made sure to save often just to be safe. I really did enjoy working with pro but I found I would still wanna work with rush if I had the option mostly because I want to try it and it is supposed to be easier. Overall I liked working with the app so far and I would use it again.
Borderlands is a series of games I never could play growing up because my parents heard it was the most violent game out there or something like that. So I got into the game a little late by getting the handsome collection for free because of the free games from ps4 monthly. When I first started playing I knew about most of the game already because of my cousins unhealthy obsession with the game series. I started my first play through as the mercomancer class which she revolved around high movement and fast and high damage output. The game is a real treat with many unique classes all with different skill trees to change the way you wanna play. For example Gaige The Mecroamncer had a class to make her main ability her "deathtrap" help her deal damage in battle or support her and another tree would be the one about her most important ability anarchy, The whole tree would revolve around it giving you more starting stacks multiplying the amount of stacks you could have and many others. The thing it did was per each magazine of ammo completely used you would gain 1 stack which would make you do more damage but lose some accuracy so there is a trade off to this but if you re lode early but one of the skills in that tree is you wouldn't lose those stacks if you re lode early. So there is a lot of variations to play the game. The settings and graphics look great and all the areas feel really different from one another. The game is really polished and I never ran into any game breaking glitches during my play through. The story is pretty good with it being pretty funny and having lots of good characters and stories or missions from them. It also has some good twists and deaths. The sound from the game was good none of the tracks are good enough to be played by themselves but fit in the moment they were used and the sounds from the guns were unique and worked well. Overall the game is really good and well polished and I would recommend for anyone.
